Start here: how the community works
The server runs on three lanes, and every channel supports one of them.
The three lanes
- Swing trades (days to months). Every alert gets its own thread in #trade-alerts with the full plan: an entry zone, take-profit targets (TP1, TP2, …), and a stop loss. Every update on that trade goes in the same thread, so turn notifications on there. #trade-updates carries Saira's market reads, a heads-up when alerts are coming, and a quick card each time something happens on a trade.
- Dividend investing (years). Long-term, income-focused setups live in #dividends-premium-alerts. These have no take-profit levels; the idea is holding and compounding.
- Occasional dip-buy plans. When the market puts quality companies on sale, a one-time plan is posted: which names, what zone, how it's being approached.
How an alert is structured
An alert reads like: Ticker · Entry zone · TP1–TPn · SL, plus a line on the reasoning. The thread title tracks where the trade stands, from "waiting for entry zone" through TPs hit to closed.
Three habits worth keeping: only act inside the entry zone, don't chase a price that already ran, and treat closed alerts as closed.
Every part, explained in plain English: How to Read a Trade Alert.
Where everything else lives
The full channel map, plus how to turn on alert notifications on desktop and phone, is in Where do I find the alerts and everything else?.
Two channels to know on day one: #start-here-premium-member, the step-by-step onboarding guide, pinned in the server, and #premium-chat, where you can introduce yourself.
Two safety notes
- Nobody from SheCanInvest will ever DM you first. Anyone messaging you privately about "exclusive signals" or crypto is a scammer. Block and report. More on this: Spotting scammers.
- Everything in the community is education, not financial advice. Alerts show a plan and the reasoning behind it so you can make your own decisions, sized to your own account.
