Spotting scammers, and shutting them down

Scammers target new members within minutes of joining. They copy Saira's name, her photo, even her posts.

How they do it

They copy the name and the picture. Discord lets anyone set their display name to she.can.invest, so the display name proves nothing.

What cannot be copied is the username, the unique @handle every account has. Saira's is:

She has one account. No backup, no second account, no assistant. An impostor has to settle for something near it:

So check the handle, not the name. On mobile, tap the profile; on a computer, hover the name.

They always come to you privately, with a friend request or a direct message, never in the public chat. Then they offer a "guaranteed" return, a private signal group, a recovery service, or they ask you to verify something.

Treat a DM warning you about scammers as a scam too. Our warnings go in the chat, never into your inbox.

Shut the door before they knock

Stop friend requests from strangers. In Discord: Settings → Privacy & Safety → under Who can send you friend requests, untick Everyone. Impersonators are not in our server, so a friend request is usually their only way to reach you.

If you want to be stricter: in the same place you can turn off direct messages from server members and mute message requests. That one is your call.

The check that settles it

If someone messages you claiming to be Saira or a moderator, ask in the main chat. Tag the person who supposedly messaged you and say:

Checking, did you just message me?

If their name does not come up when you start typing it, they are not in this server, and that is your answer. Do not reply, do not click anything they sent, and do not send money.

Then: screenshot it, block, and report. Post the screenshot in the chat so everyone else knows the name doing the rounds.

Things that are always true

• Saira will never DM you first, and never sends friend requests. So an unexpected DM is wrong even when the handle really is syra71 — the behaviour is the tell, not the name. Block and report.
• No admin will ever ask for your password, your two-factor code, your wallet keys or your broker login.
• We will never ask you to pay an individual person. Payments go through the checkout on this website or our booking page, never by DM, never to a person, and never by bank transfer, gift card or crypto.
• Start a 1:1 booking on our site, at shecaninvest.com/one-on-one. It finishes on cal.com, which is normal, but anyone can make a cal.com link, so never open one that arrives in a DM.
• Every real link starts on this site or in the server. If a message sends you anywhere else, it is not us.
